Stream Trailer

Mainstreams owns a Stream Trailer for teaching stream dynamics and the impacts of different kinds of land use on streams.

The Stream Trailer comes loaded with sand and a self-contained tank for pumping water. We demonstrate erosion by carving different kinds of stream channels in the sand to see the effects of different flow conditions and the impacts of different kinds of land use.  If you would like to see a brochure on the Stream Trailer and Creek Science Programs click Brochure
