Mainstreams has created a series of classroom programs for elementary school with the help of designer Patty Kolesnichenko.

Depending on the grade level, students discover through exploration, different strategies various macro invertebrates use to eat and live.

Students get a chance to “build” a macro using a variety props that represent tools they use.  The program has been received very well by numerous classes so far and is proving to be a hit with teachers and students.
